| Wow, how have I been missing one of my old favs, Griffin Guide?
Rnd 1 Vs Storm. G1 My Opp got stuck without enough land. G2 I stuck a Kor Firewalker, which trips up Storm a lot. I gained some other life, and Storm couldn't go off big enough in time. Rnd 2 vs Infect. G1 My opp got stuck on 2 land but drew everything that needed more than 2 land. G2 it was my turn for a bit of bad luck. I never drew a red mana source and bailed with four red instants in my hand after several turns. G3 my opponent's creatures didn't show up, and the couple that did weren't enough. I dropped lots of weenies and then a Helix to seal the deal. Rnd 3 vs Soul Sisters. G1 was running pretty fair, until my opp had Brave the Elements for my only two removal spells. G1 started with my opp missing land drops. Apparently I had all his land, cuz I flooded. Oh well. Sweepers were supposed to win this one after boarding. RNd 4 vs bad luck, er,..Some sort of Tron G1 I keep a hand with nice land, nice spells, but no dudes. My opp gets set up and I still dont have a dude, so I scoop. G2 I keep a hand with 3 Dudes, but one is Maurauder. My opp Paths the first two dudes. I draw multiple Guides, but no more dudes. That's just stupid luck. Oh well. I burn him to 3, but its not enough. |
