Odds of the above normal situation NOT happening to Bandit Keith (last week) because he is a magnet of poor statistical anomalies and variance's bitch? 100.00% The trials, travails, and tribulations of the #1 seasonal player are very real. At the very least, I had a couple of witnesses (as well as a very sympathetic and incredulous opponent that engaged me in conversation) to witness what very well might be history - either in tribal or MTGO generally. Of course, it is very difficult to be positive and recover from the trauma of astronomical variance outcomes happening on an all too-often basis. Akin to a recovering alcoholic, but then the sky starts raining whiskey after too much progress has been made. Does fate truly hate me this much? |
