COMMENTS
Back during Rav block days, I had some success with a blue/white aggro/tempo deck. It just doesn't feel right without Remand and the rare land, so I had to look for something else.

I was putting together a Naya beef deck with Savage Twister, but that's tough without Helix and rare lands. So I stripped it down to two colours. Wanted to run Ledgewalker with Moldervine Cloaks, but Ledgewalkers are not legal. Remember Charleston?

Rnd 1 vs Rakdos with Land D.
Didn't see a lot of the Rakdos deck. Lots of LD spells, including the awesome Wrecking Ball. I managed to play plenty of undercosted dudes before the LD ruined me.

Watching games between rounds, I see Frycek is playing a deck that looks a lot like the UW tempo one I referred to above.

And I see the GW deck, which I presume includes Glare of Subdual. I've got some tools for that :)

Rnd 2 vs Green/White
I mistook this for the expected tokens/Subdual deck.
Turns out he's Convoke BEEF.
G1 I came out fast he flooded on lands.
G2 was really cool and close, but he edged me out.
G3 was a standoff for awhile. The his beef was bigger and his tricks were better. A couple early landwalkers might have made the difference here, but it didn't happen.

Rnd 3 vs...what do I call it?...Black Green 5 colour???
Rakura's deck was super cool.
G1 I had a medium fast start, but his early removal put an end to that. Then his powerful goodies took over and outclassed my power.
G2 I kept an iffy slow hand. Rakura got his early removal and I flooded. :( There would be no coming back against his deck once the powerful tricks started, so I Scooped early.
