To qualify, the title means the winning decklists, from last week's Underdog+, and the normal Underdog from a month prior, combined. 8-0 + 6-1 for the same one sided non-Tribal Bridge + Liliana + Affliction shell
Last week summary:
vs AJ's Blue Wolves - Wow, what an interesting deck. Why didn't I think of the concept of combining the Wolves' flashy nature with blue permission spells? What an interesting concept and enjoyable interactive match of Tribal. This is what Tribal is all about and I had a great time playing an intense 3 games with a lot of decision-making
vs. Ensnaring Bridge (Tribe doesn't matter) - I stare at the wall as my entire deck is nullifed by one card as I die to an enchantment spell in the most uninteractive of matches, for 2 quick games in a row, against a deck that preys on creature decks with a one-card combo that's clearly not fun, fair, or balanced, and spits in the face of the concept of Tribal. Hmm, I wonder if a Tribal format has a lot of creature decks to the point where such a card would be considered oppressive and predatory? At least the unfun Scepter-Chant, LD, etc. decks weren't this good with a single auto-win card... |
