COMMENTS |
I've always wanted to play with Glissa but never had the opportunity to. I think she is actually well positioned in this meta as there are a lot of decks trying to win with the devoted druid/quillspike combo and her having first strike and deathtouch means she can block an infinitely large creature and win. Against those decks, the executioner's capsule + glissa chain is pretty devastating. There are a number of other small synergy in the deck. Against the rest of the field, I realized I wasn't winning with Genesis Wave that much in my mono green Elves deck, but that a clock and deck access with GSZ and Fauna Shaman was what was winning most of my games. There is also a lot of combo in this meta and "The Rock" style decks have always been good against combo. Between green and black you have access to removal for any type of permanent, as well as Duress out of the board for spells. Disruption + a clock has always been a good way of winning. |
