COMMENTS |
One of the good things about playing in a PRE is that since it is supposed to be a more casual environment with no entry fee, it is supposed to be a more friendly and less dirty cutthroat atmosphere. That's what it says in the master document at least - a fun-filled event where players should feel a sense of camaraderie.
And that's great, so you wouldn't see, let's say, a player completely dead for prizing (certainly the grand prize, most likely all the top 4) screw over a player who was eligible for the grand prize by fighting to the bitter end with only a few seconds left on clock, due to removing stops and passing F6 frantically. A nice way to treat a person you've never met before! Oh right. And you also never get any BM, like combo'ing a person to 1 life in a game, but no further. Delaying the game just to taunt. Nice people. Again - all this done with little to no personal gain - just purely wanting to screw over a stranger. The good thing about Magic is that it attracts the best people from all the best parts of the world :) |
