COMMENTS
My favorite type of deck are hybrid decks because they present different angles of attack. I've been playing my ally-rise deck to some success; however, a legality update is coming soon, which may make Elvish Archdruid price banned, so I decided to play it while I can.

After testing various elf decks, ranging from pure agro to Beck combo, this is the build I decided on. I like it because it is a good median between pure agro and pure combo and it also is mono colored (whereas I would have had to splash blue for Beck otherwise). The focus is on getting large genesis wave's, which is made possible through Elvish Archdruid and Wirewood Lodge. Wirewood lodge is my contribution to the 'elf deck' as I've never seen it played, yet is insane with Elvish Archdruid. I figure that Elves is fast enough to race combo and beat midrange/control so the big Genesis Wave is my out to agro. You will notice I cut Nettle Sentinel, but I believe mana elves are more important turn 1. I have cut some of the faster elf cards, but I am willing to goldfish a turn slower if it improves my defense against agro decks.

The sideboard is designed to beat the decks I generally see in the top 8 rather than being more general. I see a lot of UW so my plan is Wirewood Herald finding Caller of the Claw to protect against board wipes and Viridian Zealot against their enchantments. So long as you can float 3 mana, which is easy to do in this deck, and have Wirewood Herald on the battlefield their mass removal is useless as you can simply use it's trigger to find Caller of the Claw and win the next turn.

Creeping Corrosion is for the white quest decks.

Wirewood Herald + Wellwisher is my tech against Goblins. They can't attack into the herald without it resulting in you getting Wellwisher. This plus Fauna Shaman allows me to always have a wellwisher when I need it.

1 Prey Upon is mostly for infect.
