| RNd 1 vs PK23's fantastic Good Stuff deck.
G1 I somehow sqeeked one out. G2, I dunno if it was crafty sideboarding, or if I just didn't see some goodies in G1, but he fought off tons of beats and then settled in enough that I had to scoop. Then he conceded cuz he had to run. Not so sure I could have won otherwise. Rnd 2 vs Zoltan's strong MBC. Forget some details, but Zoltan flooded some in one game when a Corrupt would have sealed things up for him. G2 I stole his Corrupt with a Hallow, and then edged him out for the win. I wouldn't count on getting by Zoltan's deck too often! Rnd 3 vs a different mono black deck. Cool one! G1 I get owned by main deck exalted protection from white dudes. First one came out after I used my first Bolt. Ouch. Big Corrupt ended things. G2 he gambled on a 1 land hand and went about a trillion turns without finding a 2nd land. Probably the only way I could win a game this match. G3 he came out aggro and beat fast and convincingly. Not even close. Rnd 4 vs the Token deck. Absolutely owned me. |
